Abstract:
In this chapter it is given a general description of the crop conditioning tasks performed in the field and the associated machinery used. It is given a brief description of the main problems caused by the use of agricultural machinery with emphasize to soil compaction. Finaly there are presented some cultivation practices to avoid soil compaction such as controlled traffic.
