Description:
Abstract:
In patients in the ICU bedside imaging procedures are the cornerstone for early recognition and appropriate treatment and monitoring of various life-threatening conditions. In this chapter we refer to the basic principles, characteristic imaging, and limitations of such bedside imaging procedures. Moreover we refer to chest CT a very useful imaging procedure often required for the management of critically ill patients.
